21 March
2003
I woke up in
the morning by the phone call from Rita and Hlek. They had just
arrived Rayong and had breakfast near my hotel. So after
breakfast and check-out the hotel , I took them with me to the
Marine base (about 5 Kms. from Rayong downtown.)
As ever , after
breakfast FFF invited the Buddhist monk to give a preach for
the (Buddhist) children and staffs so that the children can
learn more about Buddhism and adapt to use in their lives.

After a preach
, the Marine base had a special activities for all participants
and staffs!! They embarked all participants and staffs on board
the Navy lighter-ship (ship for transporting the Marine troops
between the mother-ship and shore) and cruise them to the sea
for an hour. Children (also me too) was so excited to be on
board the Navy ship ...like a real battle operation!!(^^) While
all Marine staffs on board gave an description and answer a
hundred of happy children's questions!
For the SSEAYP
ex-pys ,or we called ourselves as the "ship-people" , to be on
board the (any kind of) ship again , is the happiness! Because
it gave us a good memory of SSEAYP and to remind us that "We
belong to the sea!"
The open-ship
activity was over around noon. We enjoyed with the delicious sea
food from local people sponsors. (So many sponsor it is!!) I met
the staffs from Singapore while he was eating Thai style fried
noodle. He smiled and told me happily that "All is delicious! I
must try them all!" (...me too!^^)

In the
afternoon there was the activity called "Adventure stations"!
They let the children to join all adventures activities
supporting by the Marine base. Participants (and also the brave
staffs!) can tried every stations such as "Parachute-simulation"
(or...god ...you must jump from the high tower with sling like a
parachute jumping!!!..but do not worry ..it's safety!) ,
climbing over the rope-way , hold the sling across the canal ,
many funny games etc. All participant and (brave staffs) enjoyed
this activity very much.

Me?...ha..ha..for
a kind of "weak-heart" staff like me...
not try better! (^^)
It's pity that
I , KV , Rita and Hlek must come back to Bangkok that evening
because we must go to work in the next day. However I heard that
the activities that night is so enjoyable. Nearly a hundred of
children joined the Japanese club activity "Fishermen dance"!!
and etc. I will try to find beautiful pictures to show you soon.
after the bad
traffic situation , we arrived Bangkok around 19.30 pm. I went
to KV house to copy and produced the FHCP picture CD for FFF
and our oversea friends.
I went to bed
around midnight. (again) and slept until morning.
What I can remember in my dream is...sea...sand...sun...and
smile!

18.00
pm. After arriving Bangkok , FFF hosted the farewell
party for the oversea staffs and participants at the
Lagoon restaurant , Bangkok.
We
enjoyed delicious dinner , talk together in friendship
atmosphere and especially enjoy the karaoke! (^^) |

I went
to join the party with FHCP 2004 picture CD for each
country staffs and a picture album for FFF. (..quick
job..right?^^)
After
the party , we took our oversea friends back to the Asia
hotel by sky train and say farewell there. We do hope to
see all of them again...any where in the world of
friendship!
23 March 2004
It's
pity that I must go to work. So I can not go to say good
bye to them again. However there were some of our staffs
, Rita - Satang and others , went to send and farewell
our Japanese friends at the Bangkok International
airport.
Although it's only a few days but Rita and
Satang told me (with tear) that they felt so sad to
see their departure. I told them that it's because of
some element in ourselves called "friendship" made us
feel like that. And (I do hope) this "friendship"
element may lead us to meet each other again .....soon.
If I
went to send them at the airport...who know... I may
say farewell with a tear of friendship too.
Till we
meet again in FHCP 2005!
