History of the For Hopeful Children Project  :

The "For Hopeful Children Project" was first established in 1991 at the Phayathai Orphanage, Bangkok. There were 150 children joined in this project with 2,800 Baht for all budget. In that year, we set the same project for 2 times around Bangkok area as well.

For the second year, not only in Bangkok, we also moved to Rayong province to let the children had an opportunity to see beautiful beach and sea. After that,  we have been supported by Mahasurasinghanath Marine Camp to set the project in their location since 1994 until now. Also, the youths wanted to join this project more and more from 200 persons to more than 500 persons in 2007
 

According to feed back of each year, we have been succeeding in children's mental and physical development. This is because of cooperation of the organizations and foundations for youths, students from universities, Rayong provincial people and any personal patronages. At the 10th anniversary, Siam Cruise Co.,Ltd. supported 300 children to travel on board the Andaman Princess cruise ship en route Bangkok-Pattaya-Bangkok.

The Beginning of the For Hopeful Children Project  :

With the intention to develop children's mental and physical, Fund For Friends (FFF) settled "For Hopeful Children Project". This project was first launched on 1st September 1991 with 2 groups of children ; children from Phayathai Orphanage who were suffered from families, helped from illegal factories and physically handicapped children.

We entertained them with activities. food, snack and beverage. Beside those entertainment activities, we also let them learn how to help each other and society. The two groups felt proud of their friendship and utilization.

From the beginning, we hope to see those underprivileged children to have self-confident with their capacities to help themselves and others.

Principle and Reason of the For Hopeful Children Project  :

Nowadays, there were more and more orphan, handicapped and under privilege children. This is because the children have several problems in their families which is one of the most important basic part of society. Consequently we have to solve their problem by giving them hope and opportunity of mental and physical development with warmed heart. We should treat those children as they are a part of the family and our society. Therefore, they can become good leader of their families in the future.

Objective of the For Hopeful Children Project  :

1. To make the hopeful children have positive "hope" to live in our competitive society.
2. To make the hopeful children believe that they can help the others.
3. To make the hopeful children feel belonged to the family and society.
4. To make people of society aware of children that are less fortunate in society,
    learn their problems and involve themselves in helping and guiding to the less fortunate
    in any possible ways.
